The Board of Education and Superintendent Brosdal have received many emails from community members with their thoughts and positions on masks in school. It would be difficult to respond to each email. These are transmitted in real time to all members of the Board. We appreciate the time taken for you to send the emails both for and against mask requirements in school.
We have posted a survey to all in the District on this subject, as well as other topics relating to our commitment to return to full in-person instruction. Remote instruction is not an option this year. Your active participation in the survey is helpful for our decision-making process. We are also consulting with our regional associations at the District and Superintendent levels in our process of preparing our District for fall instruction. We will be communicating further regarding a safe school opening following the completion of the survey.
